Sabah karate story is fake

Sabah police have dismissed social media rumours claiming a 20-year-old woman fought off 2 men who tried to rob and rape her.

The Kota Kinabalu police chief says no such report has been made, and advised the public to check the authenticity of all news before sharing it online.

The fake story claimed the victim was a Sabah karate champion who beat up the 2 men when they attacked her, rendering one of them unconscious.
