Boy trapped in car

A 1-year-old boy in Shah Alam caused panic yesterday, after he was trapped in a car for about half an hour.

His mother had put him in the back seat, but realised the doors had locked due to an automatic car key system failure, when she tried to open the driver's door.

The child was rescued by the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department unharmed, but his mother has been asked to keep an eye on him and take him to a clinic if he develops a fever.
