The govt will take action if fuel prices exceed 2 ringgit 50 sen per litre for 3 months.
RON 95 is currently at RM2.38 per litre, RON 97 costs RM2.66, while Diesel is RM2.25.
The recent hike in petrol prices was caused by the rise in global oil prices, which have now breached over $60 per barrel.
