The government has ordered for all disused bauxite mining pools in Pahang to be filled in and fenced up.
It also wants warning signboards to be installed around the areas, following the drownings of 3 children in such a pond on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the grandfather of one of the victims, a 10-year-old girl, says he will sue the parties responsible for the mining for not filling up the disused pond in the first place.
