The owner of the catamaran that sunk last month faces additional charges

The owner of the catamaran which sunk off Pulau Mengalum in Sabah last month, could be hit with as many as six additional charges.

According to The Star, the owner, who is charged with ferrying people on an overloaded vessel, may have his case heard together with new charges at the Tourism Court.

The Deputy Public Prosecutor however did not specify what these charges will be, adding that he's awaiting orders from his superiors.
