Public warned of apps claiming to be able to consolidate fuel prices

The public has been warned about smartphone apps that claim to be able to consolidate petrol and diesel prices at petrol stations nationwide.

The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry says these apps could be displaying inaccurate price information, which will end up causing confusion.

This, after the government yesterday kicked off the weekly fuel ceiling price mechanism.
