24-hour border crossing well-received by Thailand

The move to open the Bukit Kayu Hitam border crossing in Kedah around the clock, has been well-received by the Thai government. 

Kedah Exco, Datuk Seri Badrul Hisham Hashim says security and operational improvements will be made, before the extended hours are implemented by July at the latest: 

Meanwhile, Perlis now says its also looking into implementing 24-hour operations at its border crossing.
