Committee to study suggestions to allow gadgets in classrooms

Berita Harian reports that the Education Ministry is setting up a committee to study suggestions to allow gadgets like smartphones, to be brought into classrooms.
The Ministry says the commitee will be given 2 months to deliver its findings.
This, after the Education Minister proposed that students be allowed to bring certain gadgets into the classroom to help enhance the teaching process, like what is practiced in South Korea, Japan and Singapore.
