No reports of cyber attacks in Malaysia

There have been no reports of cyber attacks in Malaysia, amid massive global ransomware cyber attacks that have hit nearly 100 countries since Friday.

However, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has urged Internet users to immediately take precautions to ward off any kind of cyber attacks.

This includes updating their software, ensuring that all hosts have enabled endpoint anti-malware solutions and immediately backing up vital data to external hard drives or cloud storage services.
