Government confirms Malaysians among the dead in Mindanao

The Deputy Prime Minister has confirmed, that two Malaysian nationals were among those killed in fighting between militants and Philippine forces in Marawi, Mindanao.
Reports had earlier claimed that the two were among 13 people killed in the gunbattles, in an area where the Philippines government recently imposed martial law.
The fighting has also forced about 200 thousand people to flee their homes.
