The Malaysian Embassy in Tehran is closely monitoring a magnitude 6 earthquake that hit southeastern Iran yesterday morning.
At least 42 people were injured and as many as 30 homes destroyed in the quake.
Wisma Putra has urged Malaysians affected by the disaster to contact the embassy.
