Special task force proposes amendments to Education Act

The special task force on tahfiz schools has proposed amendments to the Education Act, to include the registration and regulation of private religious schools.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says the matter will be discussed with the respective state governments, before being brought up at the Cabinet meeting:
