UPSR examination will continue

The UPSR examination will continue, until various parties including parents, academicians and professional groups can come up with an a suitable replacement.
The Education Ministry says the UPSR is still relevant, as it adequately evaluates student's performance through the School-based Assessment format, without relying solely on the academic performance.
It adds the decision to stop the UPSR exams also won't be easy, as it requires detailed research.
