Cabinet backs PM to discuss Rohingya issue

The Prime Minister has the full support of the Cabinet, to discuss the plight of the Rohingya, during his meeting with the US President next week.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will represent the voice of the Malaysian people, in seeking US assistance to end the violence against the Rohingya in Myanmar.
Meanwhile, the Maritime Enforcement Agency says it will not turn away Rohingya Muslims who are fleeing the violence, on humanitarian grounds.
