In Kota Kinabalu, another two policemen have been arrested for allegedly asking for a bribe from a man suspected of possessing drugs.
They asked a 2,500 ringgit bribe, as an inducement to release the man.
They are now under remand until next Tuesday to allow investigations into the case.
