MACC to decide on action against Lim Guan Eng

The MACC will be meeting next Monday, to discuss what legal action should be taken against Lim Guan Eng.

This, after the Penang Chief Minister refused to apologise, for saying the MACC's arrest of DAP state exco member, Phee Boon Poh, was illegal. 

The MACC views this as defamation, and plans to take either civil or criminal action against him. 

Previously, the commission granted Guan Eng a 48-hour period to apologise for the statement.
