Insurance coverage for Uber and GrabCar passengers

All Uber and GrabCar drivers will soon be required to obtain insurance coverage for their passengers. 

This will be imposed, as soon as the new law to govern the e-hailing industry comes into force later this year. 

Meanwhile, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri is urging taxi drivers to also make use of smartphone apps, to allow them to better serve their customers.
