Police are going after begging syndicates

Selangor police are conducting raids to probe begging syndicates.

They have arrested 52 people and rescued 56 victims, including children, since July this year.

Police say action will be taken against them, even if they have documents to show they they are legal because it is against the law.

They are urging the public to be wary of beggars and to contact the police immediately to report any suspicious activities.
