No more high-speed train to Singapore

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says the proposed high-speed rail project between KL and Singapore will be scrapped.
He estimates that Malaysia could cut almost a fifth of the RM1,000,000,000,000 debt by dropping such mega-projects.
Tun Dr Mahathir has made it a priority to cut the national debt and pledged to review major projects agreed by the previous government.
