M for Malaysia is heading to the Oscars?

Malaysia has submitted the documentary, M For Malaysia, as its contender for Best Internation Film at next year's Oscars.
The film is about Malaysia’s historic 2018 General Election, in which the opposition ended BN's 60-year rule.
It's the 5th time that Malaysia has submitted a film for Oscar consideration.
92 other countries have also submitted films for consideration, including South Korea, for Bong Joon-ho's critically-acclaimed dark comedy thriller Parasite.
Govt willing to expand new RON95 targeted petrol subsidy to other groups

The government says it's is willing to expand the new RON95 targeted petrol subsidy to other groups, who feel that they should also benefit from the aid.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister said this, a day after he unveiled the new plan, which will initially cover those in the B40 group.
Meanwhile, the Minister says has explained why the new subsidy will only be implemented in the Peninsular, and not Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan.
He says its because fuel consumption there is lower than in the peinsular.
Nga Kor Ming has left Bukit Aman

Deputy Dewan Rakyat speaker Nga Kor Ming has left Bukit Aman after he was questioned with regards to a Facebook page that allegedly insulted the Sultan of Selangor.
Nga says he appeared as a witness to assist police investigation.
Earlier, the Teluk Intan MP inisted that he is not linked to the page in question and claimed he was the target of a conspiracy.
