TNB: Pay attention to electrical safety before going on vacation

Make sure your household electrical appliances are in good condition and safe before leaving your house during the Christmas and year-end holidays.
TNB is also urging its customers to switch off electrical appliances that are not in use and removing the plugs to prevent electric current from continuing to flow.
It also advised the public to consider using a timer for those, who want to light up their houses for safety reasons or to avoid theft.

The IGP has reminded road users to be safe and avoid road rage during the holiday season.
He also urged those leaving theior homes to ensure that all safety precautions, including installing adequate locks, are taken.
