First phase of BSH 2020 to be paid out on Jan 20

The first phase of the 2020 Cost of Living Aid will be paid out on January 20th.

Eligible recipients will receive 300 ringgit, which will be deposited in their bank accounts.

The Finance Ministry says the banking details it's using, is the same one used for payment of Bantuan Sara Hidup 2019. 

The aid is expected to benefit up to 3.8 million households.

Don't buy water products labeled as 'air zam zam', as they're likely fake. 

The Health Ministry says zam zam water is catergorised as a natural mineral water and is not for sale. 

As such, there is no distributor or company who has the licence for the import or sale of zam zam water.

Fugitive businessman Jho Low denies that he played a major role in the theft of billions of dollars from 1MDB funds.

In an interview with Singapore's Straits Times, he claims to only have been the middle man, as he had influential connections. 

He faces charges both in Malaysia and the United States for his alleged central role in defrauding up to 4.5 billion dollars from 1MDB.

The Prime Minister's office has yet to respond to Jho Low's claims.
