Voices in MACC revealed audio recordings to be identified

Authorities say the voices heard in the audio recordings revealed by the MACC earlier this month, will be identified at the latest, next week.
The police will then record the statements of the individuals involved.
Earlier this month, the MACC released nine audio recordings allegedly involving, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, and several other high profile individuals regarding the 1MDB scandal

PKR vice-president, Zuraida Kamaruddin, says there is no need to lodge a report against those who spread fake news, claiming she was joining Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.
The Housing and Local Government says the police have more important work to do.

Man who climbed telecommunications tower finally back down

A man who climbed up a telecommunications tower for more than 30 hours in Kanowit, Sarawak, has finally climbed back down.
The state's Fire and Rescue Department's Director, Khirudin Drahman says they tried persuading him to come down, but he climbed even higher, to a height of 100 meters, and also threw objects at rescue personnel.
The Director said, "Dia ada masalah, ada perselisihan faham dengan kawan dia, dan kawan dia mengugut untuk bunuh dia. Sebab itu dia lari lah naik atas situ. Nak akses ke tempat itu amat bahaya jadi kita biarkan dia letih lah dia turun malam dia tak letih cuma pada petang tadi hujan lebat, dia sejuk dia tak pakai baju kan..baru dia turun".
The man was then detained by the police.
