MACC informs Interpol of Jho Low, and others' arrest warrants

The MACC has filed charges in absentia against Jho Low, and two former PetroSaudi directors over the 1MDB scandal.
The trio have been charged over a US$69 million money laundering case.
The anti graft agency has informed Interpol of its arrest warrants for the three, and have asked for their cooperation to nab them.
Dr Ting Tiong Choon stripped as Pujut assemblyman

DAP's Dr Ting Tiong Choon has been stripped as Pujut assemblyman after the Federal Court ruled that his disqualification from the Sarawak state assembly is valid.
The state assembly disqualifed Dr Ting on grounds of his dual citizenship, even though he had renouncemed as an Australian citizen before the 2016 state election.
No by-election will be held, as state elections will be held next year.
Report on coronavirus outbreak impact ready by end of February
A full report on the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on various job sectors here will be ready by the end of the month.
The Human Resources Minister says his officers are working closely with the Tourism Ministry on this.
It says many hotels and tourism related industries have been impacted by the outbreak.
Meanwhile, MATTA says that the outbreak caused the cancellation of more than 95,000 hotel bookings nationwide, involving losses of RM 40 million.
