What's coming out of tomorrow's PH Presidential Council meeting?
Feb 20, 2020
Tomorrow's Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting could end up being a routine one, contrary to expectations.
Political analyst, Oh Ei Sun told us it is highly unlikely that we will see the Prime Minister announcing a large number of opposition MPs joining PH during this meeting as speculated:
"Because this is a meeting of supreme council of Pakatan Harapan, it will akin to, at the end of the meeting you're inviting a bunch of strangers into the meeting room, and host some sort of press conference, That will look very strange."
It's also been speculated that a date for the transition of power would be fixed at that meeting.

No new Covid-19 cases in Malaysia
The Health Ministry says there are no new Covid-19 infections today, leaving the country's total at 22, while seven are still being treated.
Yesterday, it confirmed the number of fully-recovered coronavirus patients had increased to 15, after two more confirmed cases were allowed to go home.
Meanwhile, the Ministry has established a virtual health advisory portal to address the growing number of public queries on Covid-19 and to correct misinformation.
This free platform, which you can access via the Ministry's official website, allows a doctor to understand callers’ concerns, assess the symptoms, and advise on the necessary steps to be taken.

No discussion on MH370 in Cabinet meeting
The Deputy Prime Minister says the Cabinet meeting did not discuss anything related to missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
This is after former Australian prime minister Tony Abbott said Malaysian officials told him the tragedy was a suspected murder-suicide.
Flight MH370 vanished from the radar in March 2014, while on its way from KL to Beijing with 239 people on board.
