Malaysia Confirms 5 More COVID-19 Cases

The Health Ministry has confirmed five new COVID-19 cases today, bringing our tally to 55.
The Ministry says all of the newly infected were in close contact with Malaysia's 26th case.
33 people are now being treated at hospital, while the rest have been discharged.
Meanwhile, the Ministry has advised Malaysians not to visit several cities in countries including Japan, Italy and Iran.
Selangor govt kicks Bersatu out

The Selangor government still remains under the Pakatan Harapan coalition.
This after state Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amarudin Shari says Bersatu has been booted out of the state govt.
He adds that Bersatu and Independent assemblymen will be placed in the opposition bloc for the upcoming state legislative assembly.
2019 SPM results sees rise in straight A students

More than 8,800 students scored straight As in the 2019 SPM examination... increasing by 400 students compared to 2018.
The Education director-general says English recorded the highest improvement from the previous year, while Science saw the worst decline in results.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry will be introducing a new examination format for 2021's SPM.
