Covid-19 patient at Sg Buloh Hospital the first in Southeast Asia to try Remdesivir

A Malaysian patient at Sungai Buloh Hospital is the first in Southeast Asia to try the Remdesivir drug, which is being tested globally for its effectiveness against Covid-19.
The Ministry says it has started recruiting Covid-19 patients in 9 hospitals nationwide to be a part of the clinical trial.
This as we reported 30 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, the lowest number since the conditional movement control order was enforced.
All 30 infections were from local transmission and no imported cases were reported.
No action against foreigners who overstayed from Jan 1 until 14 days after end of MCO

Foreigners, who have overstayed with social visit passes between January 1 and up to 14 working days after the expiry of the MCO are allowed to return to their home country without having to obtain a special pass at the Immigration office.
The Immigration Department says they can do so via the entry point by reporting to the Immigration counter with valid travel documents.
PSD denies 60% of civil servants returned to work on day 1 of CMCO

The Public Service Department has denied allegations that 60% of civil servants returned to work on the first day of the Conditional MCO.
It clarified that only between 15 to 35% returned to work and the rest were given the option to work from home.
