The government will decide whether to further ease restrictions and allow more sectors to resume on June 9th, after assessing the impact of the festive season.
Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham says this can only be done if our Covid-19 cases remain low …
"From now to next week and the following week, we will monitor the cases and see if we can maintain the lower double digits or even single digit."
“On June 9, we will make a decision. If we can sustain until June 9, while taking into account the festive season, then perhaps we can open up more social sectors and the education sector,”
This came as we reported a record low of 10 new coronavirus cases, as well as 86 recoveries.
The good news is that only 3 states registered new cases- KL, Selangor and Pahang.
The country’s total cases stand at 7,629.
Bring your own pen to register your details at premises!
It’s best to bring your own pen to register your details before entering a premise!
Health Director General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says this is a good Covid-19 preventive method...
"Always have your own pen, it is better to have your own pen."
"I have been to a store, they have their own staff to fill out the form, not us. That's one way.
"But if you need to write, make sure you sanitise your hand and pen, if possible. If you are worried that the pen will be used by the public, it is a great way to protect yourself."
The authorities are also looking at a solution involving the MySejahtera app where the public can use a QR code that already has their personal details to avoid the need for manual registration.
