NSC to discuss status of MCO today

The National Security Council will meet today to discuss the status of the MCO in the country.
Senior Minister for Security Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says it is important to balance between safeguarding lives and economic interests.
The current MCO is scheduled to end on Thursday.
Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 cases dropped to 4,214, after 3 consecutive days of reporting more than 5 thousand infections.
This brings the overall tally to nearly 220,000 and active cases to around 48,000.
Police caught three men who violated the MCO by hanging out by the pool of a condo in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, after a security guard at the premises lodged a report over the incident.
