Malaysia reaches new record of COVID-19 deaths

Malaysia has reported its highest number of daily COVID-19 deaths to date, with 24 fatalities today.
This brings the overall death toll to 896.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry detected 3,100 new coronavirus cases today.
Selangor had the highest number of infections with 1,196 cases, followed by 490 in Johor, and Melaka 344.

You don’t have to pay a service fee to apply for BPR
Applications for the government’s Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat initiative are free.
The IRB says this follows complaints that some parties are charging applicants a fee to fill up their forms.
It has also denied appointing any third parties to provide application services.

SPM 2020 examination format will not be changed
The format for the 2020 SPM exams will remain the same.
The Malaysian Examinations Syndicate said this after a recent report claimed that the format will be changed.
It adds that any changes will only be announced by the relevant authorities.
