"I’m doing fine" says PM a day after taking vaccine jab

"I’m doing fine" says the Prime Minister, after receiving the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday.

In a video on his Facebook account, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin gives us an update on his well-being.

“Today is the second day and I am confident that the vaccine is safe and effective.”

"I feel healthy. Nothing out of the ordinary. I eat like normally would do and my appetite is normal. The vaccine that I received is quite good," 



He says he is still observing standard operating procedures (SOPs) although he had received the vaccine and reminded everyone to do the same.

Among others who received the jab with him were Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah and four staff of the Ministry of Health (MOH) 

Dr Hisham says he has not experienced any side effects so far.

Meanwhile, Tan Sri Muhyiddin says he had also received an appointment for the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on March 17.

He says he received various information on vaccination through the MySejahtera app, urging people to follow suit.

So far, 800,000 people have registered for the Covid-19 vaccine.
