The Welshman re-joined Spurs on loan in the summer and has recently been on a run of good form, scoring four goals in his last four games at the London club.

According to UK media, Real are trying to raise funds to make a 135 million pound bid for PSG's Kylian Mbappe, and selling Bale will help make this happen.

The Egyptian FA plans to hold talks with Liverpool after this month's international break, to discuss Mohammad Salah's participation at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

Salah was one of 3 over-aged players named in Egypt's preliminary squad for the Games, which are due to take place from July 23rd to August 8th.

This would pose a problem for Liverpool, as Salah will have to miss their pre-season campaign, as well as the opening weeks of the next EPL season.
