Liverpool have suffered a 3-1 defeat to Brentford in the Premier League this morning.

Ibrahima Konate conceded an own goal for the Reds, while Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo netted in the first and second half respectively for the home side.

The win is Brentford’s first against Liverpool since 1938.

Sources say Arsenal have activated a one year contract extension for attacker Bukayo Saka and defender William Saliba.

Both players would have been free to hold discussions with other clubs this month, as their contracts were due to expire at the end of the season.
