Cristiano Ronaldo came to Man United’s rescue once again, helping them snatch a 2-2 Champions League draw with Atalanta.

The Portuguese netted both goals, including the injury-time equalizer.

Ronaldo has now scored in every one of the Red Devil’s group matches this season.

In other Champions League results…Juventus confirmed their place in the knockout round with a 4-2 win over Zenit St Petersburg.

Bayern Munich are also through, after thrashing Benfica 5-2

Chelsea edged past Malmo 1-0

While Barcelona also recorded a 1-0 win over Dynamo Kiev.

Tottenham have officially appointed Antonio Conte as their new manager.

The ex-Chelsea and Inter boss takes over from Nuno Espirito Santo…who was sacked on Monday after a run of poor results.

Conte’s contract with Spurs runs until 2023.

Formula One’s motorsports boss Ross Brawn says F1 cars could get smaller and lighter after 2026…to encourage more wheel-to-wheel racing.

Cars have been getting bigger in recent years, leading to complaints that there’s not enough space on track for overtaking.
