Man City Were January's Biggest Spenders
Feb 04, 2025

Man City outspent every other club in the January transfer window.
According to reports, City spent a whopping 180 million pounds on new signings during the period – more than all the other 19 Premier League clubs combined!
They snapped up four players, namely Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez, Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov, Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush and Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis.
According to TransferMarket.com it's the second-biggest outlay in the history of January transfers.
They were behind Chelsea, who spent 274 million pounds back in 2023.

Marcus Rashford's Man United career is effectively over.
According to reports, it's unlikely that the attacker will return to Old Trafford at the end of his loan stint at Aston Villa.
It's because his relationship with United's management is said to be nearly irreparable.
Before his departure, Rashford was frozen out of the first team after falling out with boss Ruben Amorim.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has praised his team's mentality, after they fought back from a goal down to beat West Ham 2-1 in the Premier League this morning.
He was especially happy with their patience and control after conceding the opening goal.
