Arsenal capitalized on an error-prone display by Allison, to record a 3-1 win over Liverpool at the Emirates.

The normally-reliable Reds keeper was at fault for two of the Gunners’ goals.

The defeat leaves Liverpool with just a two-point advantage over Arsenal at the top of the standings.  

In other EPL results… Wolves pulled off a surprise 4-2 win over Chelsea

While Man United overcame West Ham 3-0.

Over in Spain…Marcos Llorente netted an injury-time equalizer…to help Atletico salvage a 1-1 La Liga draw with Real Madrid in the Madrid derby.

It leaves Real top of the standings two points ahead of Girona.

FIFA has confirmed that New Jersey will host the 2026 World Cup final…while Mexico City will stage the opening group game.

The 2026 edition is being co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Pandelela Rinong has missed out on a chance to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in the 10m individual platform event.

This, after the national diver failed to make the semis at the ongoing World Aquatics Championship – where only the top 12 from the category will secure a place in Paris.
