Dhabitah Out To Prove A Point
Aug 09, 2024
Nur Dhabitah Sabri is out to deliver an important message at the Paris Olympics.
The national diver says she wants to show the world that she deserves to be at the Games, even though she only qualified for this edition via an unused quota slot.
Dhabitah said this, after qualifying for the final of the women’s 3m springboard event…which takes place later tonight.
Meanwhile, compatriot Bertrand Rhodict will also be in action this evening in the men’s 10m platform prelims.
Elsewhere in Paris…Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo has won the men’s 200m sprint ahead of the American pair of Kenneth Bednarek and Noah Lyles.
It later emerged that Lyles – who had won the 100m event – had tested positive for Covid.
