Sep 09, 2024

pep's £100m january war chest

Man City will allocate £100 million for new signings in the January transfer window.

According to reports, City will focus on two main targets during that period, namely Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz and Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala.

This, after City’s relatively quiet transfer business in the summer.

During the off-season, they resigned former player Ilkay Gundugan on a free transfer and bought winger Savinho from French club Troyz (Trowa).

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has assured fans that he wants to extend his contract with the Merseyside giants.

The Dutchman is one of three senior players whose current deals are due expire at the end of the season,

The others are Mo Sallah and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
