Injured Pogba could miss the rest of the year

Paul Pogba could miss the rest of the year with a thigh injury.
The Man United midfielder picked up the problem in training with the France national team.
If he is sidelined until the new year…he will miss two Champions League games and up to 10 Premiership matches for the Red Devils.

Erik ten Hag is reportedly not ruling out taking over at Man United.
The Ajax boss says its something he would consider at the end of the season…but has no interest in taking charge half-way thru the campaign.
Ten Hag is reportedly one of several candidates being considered for the United job…to replace the under-fire Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

The FIFA Best Player awards ceremony will be held virtually in January.
Its in line with current public health measures because of the coronavirus.
Voting for the best player and coach prizes will run from November 22nd until December 10th.
Meanwhile, the separate Ballon d’Or award ceremony will be held in Paris later this month.

Ziyad Zolkefli will not be receiving the government’s 1 million ringgit reward for the Tokyo Paralympics.
He had initially won gold in the shot-put event at the Games, but was later disqualified for a pre-event technical violation.
The Youth and Sports Ministry says Ziyad will not be rewarded through its Sports Incentive Scheme…although several other parties have offered to reward the athlete for his efforts.
