Malaysia Offered To Host Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games could be returning to Malaysia after over a quarter of a century!
The Olympic Council of Malaysia confirmed it received an offer from the Commonwealth Games Federation to become the new host, after the Australian city of Victoria pulled out.
OCM adds that the Federation's offer comes with a financial package of £100 million.
It will hold talks with the Youth and Sports Ministry over the proposal.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he expects Ibrahima Konate to return to fitness in time for next weekend's FA Cup quarter-final against Man United.
The defender was absent from last night's 1-all draw against Man City, due to a hamstring problem.

Speaking of United, the Red Devils will reportedly make a move for Harry Kane this summer, if he becomes available.
It's believed that Kane is considering his options, just one year after joining Bayern Munich.

And reports say Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso rejected an offer to join Man City 4 years ago.
Alonso, who was Real Sociedad head coach at the time, was approached to replace City's assistant manager Mikel Arteta, who had just left to join Arsenal.
