PSG Knock Liverpool Out Of The Champions League

PSG have marched into the Champions League quarterfinals after a dramatic victory over Liverpool this morning.

Ousmane Dembele netted for the Paris club at Anfield to level the last-16 tie at 1-1 on aggregate.

PSG then went on to win the penalty shootout 4-1…with Gianluigi Donnarumma saving two of the Reds’ spot kicks.

In other Champions League results…

Inter Milan completed a comfortable 4-1 aggregate win over Feyernoord after a 2-1 win this morning.

Bayern Munich overcame Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 this morning and 5-0 on aggregate.

While Barcelona defeated Benfica 3-1 this morning, to advance to the quarters with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.

JDT are out of the Asian Champions League Elite…after going down 1-0 to Buriram United in the second leg of their last-16 tie…to exit 1-0 on aggregate.

Man United have announced plans to leave Old Trafford, after over a hundred years at the iconic ground.

The club now plans to build a new 100 thousand-seat stadium – which will be the largest in the UK – on a piece of land right next to their current facility.

The new stadium should take five years to complete once planning permissions are obtained.

Malaysia’s Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai have made the second round of the All England Championship…although seven other reps – including Lee Zii Jia and Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik - have made early exits.

And, Oscar Piastri has signed a new long-term contract with McLaren…on the back of his fourth-place finish in last year’s F1 driver’s championship.
