Bellingham completes Real Madrid transfer

bellingham completes real madrid transfer

Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder has penned a six-year contract with the Spanish giants worth over 103 million euros.

Bellingham - who leaves Dortmund after three seasons - claimed the Bundesliga Player of the Year in the most recent campaign.

The 19-year-old is only Real’s third signing to cost more than 100 million euros, after Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.

Man United have decided against pursuing Harry Kane, as manager Erik Ten Hag reportedly refuses to meet Tottenham’s 100 million pounds price tag.

Sources say United’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen has also come to a halt for the same reason, after Napoli demanded 120 million for the striker.

Ten Hag is instead rumoured to be inclined towards Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, who would reportedly cost half the price of Kane or Osimhen.

Croatia have one hand on their first major trophy, after beating the Netherlands 4-2 in the UEFA Nations League semi-final.

Bruno Petkovic and Luka Modric scored in extra time to secure the victory, after the game ended 2-2 in regulation time.

They will next play the winners of tomorrow’s other semi between Italy and Spain.

This is only Croatia’s second international final, after the 2018 World Cup.
