Novak Djokovic has confirmed that he’ll be competing at the Tokyo Olympics.

The tennis world number one had earlier said he was 50-50 about heading to the Games.

Djokovic has already won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon titles this year.

He now needs the Olympic gold medal and US Open title to become the first man to win the Golden Grand Slam.

Borussia Dortmund are determined not to sell their in-demand striker Erling Haaland, at least for another season.

Insiders say the Bundesliga club will not let any more of their star players leave this summer, having already agreed to sell Jadon Sancho to Man United.

A number of top clubs, including Man City and Chelsea have been linked with Haaland, who has a 149 million pounds price tag.

Real Madrid have once again made Liverpool striker Mo Salah one of their summer targets.

Insiders say manager Carlo Ancelotti sees the Egyptian as the best alternative, if Real fail to sign PSG’s Kylian Mbappe before the start of the season.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants for the past year, but is still understood to be considering extending his stay with PSG.

Arjen Robben has retired from football for a second time, at the age of 37.

The former Netherlands, Bayern Munich and Chelsea star had initially hung up his boots in 2019, but reversed his decision to return to his first club Groningen last season – where his campaign was marred by injuries and the Covid-19 pandemic.
