Man United's Last Shot At Mbeumo

Man United are expected to make a final offer for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo. 

According to Sky Sports, United are still keen on signing the attacker, and want to have him in the squad before they start their pre-season tour.  

Earlier reports said that talks between United and Brentford had stalled, as United are refusing to pay his £70 million asking price.

Separatelym United are proposing a swap deal with Chelsea, that involves Alejandro Garnacho and Nicolas Jackson. 

Garnacho wants to leave United after falling out with boss Ruben Amorim. 

Meanwhile, Jackson's Chelsea future is said to be uncertain due to the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.

Crystal Palace will lodge an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports, over their demotion from the Europa League.  

Palace were demoted because their owner also holds a stake in Lyon, which qualified for the Europa League as well.

Tennis world no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has pulled out of the upcoming Canadian tennis Open due to fatigue.  

The event in Montreal was one of her two scheduled warm up matches before she begins her US Open title defence.
