Pep Wants Fans To Temper Expectations

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has urged fans to temper their expectations, after they kicked off their EPL campaign with a 4-0 victory away at Wolves.  

He pointed out that they started last season strongly too, only for their campaign to fall apart midway.  

New signings Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijners both scored for City, while Erling Haaland netted a brace.  

Meanwhile, Guardiola says the club needs to offload a few more players during the current transfer window, to bring the squad down to a more manageable size. 

He didn't mention specific names, but one of them could be goalkeeper Ederson, who's been linked with a move to Turkey.

Tottenham gave new boss Thomas Frank a winning start to the season, after beating Burnley 3-0. 

It was their first Premier League win since April

Elsewhere, Newly promoted Sunderland beat West Ham 3-0 

Brighton and Fulham drew 1-1  

Newcastle played out a goalless draw with 10-man Aston Villa.

Also, JDT posted a 5-0 victory over UM-Damansara United in their FA Cup first-round, first-leg clash.

Meanwhile, Selangor FC defeated Malaysia University 3-1.
