Lewandowski wins Best FIFA Men's Player prize

Robert Lewandowski has won the Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year award for a second year in a row.
The Bayern Munich and Poland striker netted 48 goals for club and country last season…and edged PSG’s Lionel Messi and Liverpool’s Mo Salah to the prize.
Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel was named the Best Men’s Coach for guiding the Blues to last season’s Champions League title.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo won the Special Award, in recognition of him beating Ali Daei’s long-standing record for most international goals by a male player.

Everton have officially made contact with Roberto Martinez about the vacant manager’s job at the Premiership club.
The current Belgium coach is high on the Toffees wanted list to take over from the sacked Rafa Benitez.
Belgium, however, are reluctant to release their coach…with the World Cup just months away.

Novak Djokovic could be barred from playing at this year’s French Tennis Open.
This is because from now until further notice… elite athletes will need to be vaccinated to participate in events in France.
The unvaccinated Djokovic was deported from Australia on Sunday, after losing a court battle to have his cancelled visa reinstated.
