Tournament favourites Portugal have opened their Euro 2024 campaign with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over the Czech Republic.

The 2016 winners needed an injury-time goal from Francisco Conceicao to seal the victory.

The match also saw captain Cristiano Ronaldo make history, by appearing at a record sixth European Championship.

Another game saw Georgia score their first goal in a major tournament…although they ended up losing 3-1 to Turkiye in their Group F opener.

Elsewhere at the Euros…reports say Kylian Mbappe is still uncertain for France’s clash against the Netherlands this weekend...even though he’s expected to fully recover from a broken nose.
