Bruno Fernandes Warns Teammates After Man Utd Defeat
Jan 20, 2025
Bruno Fernandes is warning his Man United teammates not to get complacent and be comfortable with the level of performance showed in their 3-1 EPL defeat to Brighton.
The Red Devils captain says the players need to be braver and show more belief if they are to recover from one of their worst seasons in recent years.
United have already lost 10 league games so far this campaign – 6 of which were at home – which is their worst record at Old Trafford in over 130 years.
The defeat to Brighton also leaves the team just 10 points off the relegation zone.

Separately, Spanish club Real Betis are said to be closing in on a deal to sign Man United winger Antony on loan.
The Brazilian has failed to lock down a regular place in United’s first team, managing just one goal in 13 appearances this campaign.
--
Elsewhere, Man City are reportedly considering a loan move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz.
Sources, however, say the deal has stalled, because Juve are demanding a clause forcing City to buy the player outright once his loan spell is over.

And, top seed and world number one Jannik Sinner has made the men’s singles quarterfinals at the Australian tennis Open, after a four sets victory over Holger Rune earlier today.
