azizulhasni awang to quit the national team

Datuk Azizulhasni Awang will be continuing his track cycling career, but as a professional.

The 37-year-old says following discussions with the Youth and Sports Minister and the National Sports Council…he’s decided that its in the best interest of everyone, for him to part ways with the national team.

The Pocket Rocketman says this is so that all support and focus can be given to the next generation of national cyclists.

Azizul explains that he now plans to carry on competing at least for the next two years…and is eyeing this year’s World Track Cycling Championship.

In the latest EPL results…Man City had a 2-0 win over Everton

Aston Villa thrashed Newcastle 4-1 

Brentford overcame Brighton 4-2 

West Ham and Southampton played out a 1-1 draw 

While the Crystal Palace-Bournemouth game ended goalless.
