SIC clears the air over F1 return
Aug 20, 2025

The Sepang International Circuit has clarified recent reports, claiming that it's trying to bring Formula 1 back to Malaysia.
It acknowledged that F1 was a huge part of its history, but the process to regain hosting rights is too complex and expensive.
The circuit says instead it is focusing on extending its MotoGP contract, which is set to expire next year.
It's because MotoGP continues to resonate strongly with Malaysian fans, and is more accessible for both spectators and organisers.

Clubs interested in signing Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson must offer at least £60 million.
This, amid interest from clubs including Arsenal, Man United, Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Chelsea are putting Jackson up for sale to free up their wage bill, in order to make last-minute signings before the transfer window closes.
It's believed that the Blues are especially in need of a new defender after Levi Colwill suffered a serious knee injury.

Other reports claim that Man United's Alejandro Garnacho has rejected an offer to join Bayern Munich.
It's because the Argentine is dead set on a move to Chelsea.

Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso insists that his decision to leave Rodrygo for their La Liiga win over Osasuna was purely tactical, and had nothing to do with an impending transfer.
